One of the first questions people ask me is, “Why should I hire a health coach?” The answer is actually quite simple; a health coach can help you finally achieve the health goals you have been dreaming about.

We all have a tendency always to be “reaching for the stars,” which is perfect for career and life aspirations, but usually do not work as well when it comes to your health and wellness goals. A health coach will help you set SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely) goals based on your unique needs that can be sustained for a lifetime.

Wait, can’t a doctor do the same thing?  Physicians and other professionals are crucial partners in health, but unfortunately, they don’t have schedules that allow a lot of facetime during their workday.  A health coach, on the other hand, is specifically there to listen (non-judgmentally and confidentially) and discuss options and find the best resolution for you.   Today most doctors are specialists who treat specific body parts or maladies.  Your health coach considers your whole person.

Incorporating lasting changes takes time and my program is designed to help you make those changes slowly, yet permanently by meeting with me twice a month for six months.
